    Flavored Butters For French Bread

    List of Ingredients

    Herb Spread:
    1/3C Margarine or Butter, softened
    2T grated Parmesan Cheese
    1/4t dried Basil Leaves
    1/4t dried Oregano Leaves

    Onion Spread:
    1/3C Margarine or Butter, softened
    2T finely chopped onion
    Dash of Cayenne Pepper

    Blue Cheese Spread:
    1/3C Margarine or Butter, softened
    1/4C finely crumbled Blue Cheese
    1/4t Garlic Powder

    Garlic Spread:
    1/3C Margarine or Butter, softened
    1/4t Garlic Powder

    Recipe

    Cut 1/2 pound loaf of French Bread diagonnally into 1 inch slices. Mix all ingredients for chosen spread together. Spread one side of each slice with one of the spreads. Reassemble slices into loaf; wrap securely in aluminium foil. Heat in 350 degree oven until warm, about 15 minutes.
