1/2 # bacon (diced)
1 C celery (diced)
1 medium onion (diced)
1/2 to 1 green pepper (diced)
1 C wild rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms
pimiento (optional adds color)

Soak wild rice in water (with 1 Tbls salt added) about 6 hours or overnight. Boil for about 20 minutes. Drain & rinse off rice. Fry bacon, when its nearly done, drain off most of the grease, but leave enough to saute' onions, celery & green peppers. Add drained wild rice & remaining ingredients and mix well. Grease a casserole, & place mixture in, add enough water to nearly cover (about 1 Cup) Bake at 350
