    French Silk Pie

    List of Ingredients

    Crust:
    1 1/2 C Flour
    1/2 t Salt
    2 T Sugar
    1/2 C Oil
    2 T Milk

    Filling:
    1/2 C Softened Butter
    3/4 C Sugar
    1 Square Unsweetened Chocolate (melted)
    1 t Vanilla
    2 Eggs

    Almond Whipped Cream:
    1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
    6 T Sugar
    3/4 t almond flavoring
    Whip until stiff peaks form

    Recipe

    In a 9 inch pie pan mix the dry ingredients for the crust together and make a well. Add the oil and milk. Mix and pat into pan. Bake crust at 350 degrees until lightly golden. Let cool.
    For the filling cream butter in mixer. Gradually add the sugar, chocolate and vanilla. Then add the eggs one at a time. Beat for 5 minutes after each egg. Fill cooled pie crust and top with almond whipped cream. Chill for at least 2 hours.
