    Awesome Meatballs by April

    List of Ingredients

    2 pounds of lean ground beef
    1/4 cup water
    1 small onion grated
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 cup of crackers crumbs or bread crumbs
    1 teaspoon of salt
    1 can (1 pound) jellied cranberry sauce
    1 bottle ( 12 ounces) chili sauce
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Recipe

    Combine the meat with the water, onion, eggs crumbs, and salt and shape the mixture into bite size meatballs. In a large saucepan combine the cranberry sauce, chili sauce brown sugar, lemon juice. Heat and stir until smooth. add the uncooked meatballs to the sauce. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Skim off the fat and serve the meatballs in a fondue pot with fancy tooth picks. Serves about 8

    What I like to do is. I make the meatballs and place them in the crock-pot ove night. Then when I am ready to serve them I drain off the fat and make the sauce and pour that over the meatballs and let them cook in the sauce a little bit and then I serve them on a platter with fancy toothpicks.
