Beer Cheese Cookies

List of Ingredients
1 stick plus 3 1/2 tbls butter
1 1/2 cups flour before sifting
2 cups grated medium or sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cayenne
(I only used 1/4 tsp cayenne and they had plenty of kick
for me.)
Recipe
Soften butter in microwave for 10 seconds. Sift the flour.
Mix all ingredients very well. Batter will be very stiff.
Now the recipe says to use a pastry bag minus the end but I
found it easier to use my hand to make small round/flat
cookies. Do it the way it is best for you. Bake at 350
degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes.
These are great for a brunch where Bloody Mary’s are served, as a snack with beer or where you have a variety of
appetizers. I think they are good with wine.
