    List of Ingredients




    1 loaf of firm unsliced bread
    1 3oz pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 lb sharp cheddar cheese
    1/2 Cup butter
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

    Recipe



    Trim crusts of bread and cut into one inch cubes.

    Nelt cheese and butter in a double boiler until thick and creamy. Remove from heat and cool slightly and fold into egg whites.

    Dip bread cubes into cheese mixture, coating thoroughly. Place on slightly greased cookie sheet.
    Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes until puffed and slightly browned.

    Makes 3 dozen large and very delicious puffs.
