Orange Hummus

List of Ingredients
1 - 15 oz (420 g) can of garbanzo beans (chick peas, ceci), rinsed and drained
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 cup (60 ml) orange juice
2 tsp (10 ml) grated orange rind
1 tsp (15 ml) Dijon-style mustard
1/2 tsp (2 ml) curry powder
1/2 tsp (2 ml) ground ginger
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Pita bread for dippingRecipe
Combine all ingredients except for the pita bread in an electric food processor or blender and process until smooth.
Serve with pita bread for dipping.
Serves 6 to 8 as an appetizer
