Sinful Spinach Herbed Cheese

Chef's note: Is this dish a side or a dip? Your call. But it's easy to make ahead. The hard part is staying out of it until dinner.
List of Ingredients
Herbed cheese dip:
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. dried dill
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Spinach Herb dip:
2 10-oz. packages of frozen chopped spinach
1 cup water
1 cup Herbed Cheese dipRecipe
Herbed cheese dip:
Mix cream cheese, butter, garlic and spices in a food processor until blended. Chill overnight to blend flavors.
Spinach Herb dip:
Combine the spinach and water in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until hot. Drain well and return to the saucepan. Stir in 1 cup of the herbed cheese dip. Serve warm.
Serves six.
