Mix together in a small dish to make a paste
Score 1 flank steak (1 1/2 lbs) on both sides in a diamond pattern. Spread seasoning paste on both sides of steak. Place on plate and cover. Let stand in fridge 1 hour. Grill steak 6 minutes each side. Sprinkle with salt. Remove to cutting board. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing on sharp diagonal across the grain into thin slices.
The 6 minutes per side was quite rare (and absolutely delicious); adjust the time to your liking.
