8 - 10 small new potatoes
1 - 1½ cups fresh peas
2+ tbsp. butter
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 - 2 tbsp. flour
salt to taste
white pepper to taste
1 - 2 cups milk or half & half
Recipe
Cook potatoes & peas separately until tender. Melt butter, add onion & sauté until tender. Add flour and cook 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, add seasonings, and gradually add milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Combine potatoes & peas, pour sauce over and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
