Recipe Introduction

my male parental unit "created" this on one of his "guys-only" camping trip. It sounds weird, but it is good. Slice potatoes and onions about 1/2 inch thick. Place 1/3 of potato slices on a piece of foil large enough to bring up and fold over entire casserole (if not heavy duty foil, you'll probably need two layers). Top with 1/3 of onions. Place strips of bacon across onions, then top with ketchup. Repeat layers two more times then seal up foil. Bake on cookie sheet in 350° oven 1 hour 15 minutes to 1½ hours.
