    List of Ingredients

    1 cup bread crumbs
    1/3 cup milk
    1/4 cup minced onion
    1 pound ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 - 4 tbsp flour
    2 cans beef bouillon
    1 cup half & half

    Recipe

Soak crumbs in milk. Mix with onion, beef, egg, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Shape into balls and brown in skillet. When browned on all sides, remove from skillet; add flour to drippings and blend until smooth. Cook over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add beef bouillon and half & half. Continue stirring and cook until it thickens. Add meatballs to gravy, cover & simmer 15 - 30 minutes, but do not allow to boil. Gravy may need to be thinned as it cooks, using either bouillon or more half & half.

Good with mashed potatoes, noodles, rice . . . whatever!
