Meatloaf Wellington

Recipe Introduction
This is really simple, and very good! Makes for awesome meatloaf sandwiches the next day!
List of Ingredients
1 can beef gravy (10.5oz), divided
1 & 1/2 cups day old bread, cubed
1/4 cup onion
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
2 pounds ground beef
1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
Recipe
In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup gravy, bread cubes, onion, egg, and salt. Mix in beef until well combined. Press into a greased 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Bake uncovered at 375º for 1 hour. Remove from loaf pan, and drain grease on paper towels (I also blotted it with towels).
Place on a greased, shallow baking pan, unroll crescents and press to seal perforations, cover the top and sides of meatloaf with crescents, trim off excess.
Bake 10-15 minutes longer at 375º or until pastry is golden brown. Heat remaining gravy to serve over meatloaf
