    Tex Mex Won Tons

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 lb. ground beef (I'm sure turkey or chicken would work too)
    1/4 cup onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 15oz. can refried beans
    1/4 cup shredded cheese
    1 Tbsp. Catsup
    1 1/2 tsp Chili powder
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    4 doz. won ton wraps

    Recipe

    In a large skillet cook beef, onion and green pepper until the meat is browned and the veggies are tender.. Drain fat. Stir in the rest of the ingredients (except the wraps of course) and mix well. Spoon a teaspoon of the beef mixture into the center of a wrap and fold to seal the ends. Have a little cup of water handy to dip your fingers in. It helps to have your fingers wet to seal the wonton. Deep fry a few at a time until golden brown. I haven't tried to bake these in the oven to cut the fat but I'm sure if you used foil and cooking spray it may work. Serve warm with your choice of taco sauce, salsa, sour cream and guacamole.
