    2 sticks soft butter (do not substitute margarine)
    1 pound brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    pinch of salt
    light rum
    boiling water

    Recipe



    Cream sugar and butter together until fluffy. Add easonings. Hold in refrigerator until needed.

    To serve, use large mugs - 10-ounce is good. Place a scant 1/4 cup of batter in mug. Add 1½ oz. light Bacardi rum and fill mug with boiling water. Stir until batter melts & blends; serve immediately.
