Hot Mulled Cider

List of Ingredients
10 whole allspices
5 whole cloves
1 (2”) stick cinnamon, broken into pieces
4 lemon slices
2 C water
4 regular size tea bags
3 C apple cider
1½ C cranberry juice cocktail
Recipe
Tie allspice, cloves & cinnamon in a cheesecloth bag. Place spice bag, lemon slices & water in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat & simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add tea bags; cover & steep 5 min’s. Discard tea bags, spice bag & lemon slices.
Add apple cider & cranberry juice to spiced tea, & heat thoroughly. Serve hot.
Yield: 1½ qts
