This makes a GREAT holiday gift, and you can add the cinnamon sticks and cherries to make it look attractive.
List of Ingredients
4 c. sugar
2 750 liter bottles good white wine
3 c. quality brandy
4 large apples, chopped
12 inches cinnamon sticks, broken up small
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 jar red marachino cherries Recipe
Bring sugar, spices, apples. 1 bottle white wine, and brandy to a boil. Simmer until fruit is tender. Add second bottle of white wine and the cherries. Let it sit covered for *at least* two days. Strain and bottle.
