    List of Ingredients

    2 1/4 cups milk, heated to 115°-120°
    1 tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    6 - 6½ cups bread flour

    Recipe

Add oil to milk. Stir together sugar, salt, yeast and about 3 cups of the flour; mix in milk. Gradually mix in more flour until it becomes too thick to stir.

Turn dough out on floured surface and knead in remaining flour. Continue kneading until total kneading time is about 8-10 minutes, and dough is smooth & satiny.

Place in a lightly greased bowl, turn once to grease top of dough, cover and allow to rise until double in bulk - about 1½ hours. Punch down, allow to rise again until double -about 45 minutes.

Divide dough into five or six small balls, place on a cookie sheet and allow to rise until double - about an hour. Bake at 350°-375° about 20-25 minutes, or until browned and loaves sound hollow when thumped.
