    Recipe Introduction

These are Millie's Perfectly Easy Dinner Rolls . . .

    List of Ingredients

    1 c Warm Water (105~115°)
    2 pkg dry yeast
    1/2 C (1 stick) butter, melted
    1/2 C sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp salt
    4~4½ C all-purpose flour
    Additional melted butter (optional)

    Recipe

Combine the warm water & yeast in a lrg bowl. Let the mixture stand until yeast is foamy, about 5 minutes. Stir in butter, sugar, eggs & salt. Beat in flour 1 C at a time, until dough is too stiff to mix, mixing/kneading for about 4 minutes total. Cover & refrigerate 2 hrs or up to 4 days.

Grease a 13x9 bake pan. Turn chilled dough out onto a lightly floured board. Divide dough into 24 equal~size pieces. Roll each piece into a smooth round ball; place balls in even rows in the prepared pan. Cover & let rise til doubled in volume, about 1 hr.

Preheat oven to 375° bake until rolls are golden brown, about 15~20 minutes. Brush warm rolls w/melted butter, if desired. Break rolls apart to serve.

    PULL APART ROLLS (Baboon Bread)
I use my perfectly easy dinner rolls for this ~ just follow the recipe up to shaping the balls, then follow the pull-apart directions from there ~ but start checking for doneness after about 25 minutes.

1½ Loaves Bridgford Frozen Bread Dough, thawed -OR- one package of White or Parkerhouse Rolls -OR- Perfectly Easy Dinner Rolls dough

1/4 Cup Melted Butter or Margarine
    1 Cup Grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. Rosemary or to taste - fresh or dried
1 Tbsp. Sage or to taste - fresh or dried
1 Tbsp. Basil or to taste - fresh or dried
1 Tbsp. Thyme or to taste - fresh or dried
1/4 teas. Or more Garlic Powder Granules, or fresh if desired

Grease a fluted tube bundt pan.
Combine cheese, herbs and garlic. Divide thawed dough into 24 pieces (16 pieces for the whole loaf and 8 pieces for the half loaf). If using rolls, they are ready to use once thawed. Dip each piece in butter and roll in cheese/herb mixture to coat. Place coated pieces of dough evenly in pan. Let rise until double in size.
Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 30-40 minutes or until well browned and top of bread sounds hollow when tapped. Remove from pan immediately to cool on wire rack.

    PERFECTLY EASY SANDWICH BREAD:
Using the dinner rolls recipe, divide it into equal halves instead of small balls & formed each half into a ball ~ cover & let rest at least 10 minutes. Shape into loaves and place in greased bread pans. Cover & let rise until double - about 1 to 1½ hours. Bake in preheated 375° over for about 25-30 minutes, or until loaves sound hollow when thumped. A very nice light bread.
