    * 3 cups flour
    * 2 tsp baking soda
    * 2 tsp cinnamon
    * 1 tsp nutmeg
    * 1 tsp cloves
    * 1 tsp allspice
    * 1 tsp salt
    * 1 cup sugar
    * 1 cup light brown sugar
    * 4 eggs
    * 2 cups canned pumpkin
    * 3/4 cup vegetable oil
    * 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    * 2 cups peeled, cored and finely chopped apples
    * Spice crumbs:
    * 1/2 cup sugar
    * 1/4 cup light brown sugar
    * 3 Tbl flour
    * 2 tsp cinnamon
    * 1/8 tsp nutmeg
    * 1/8 tsp cloves
    * 1/8 tsp allspice
    * 3 Tbl unsalted butter, room temp, in small pieces

    Soft together flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice and salt. Set aside. With mixer, combine the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, pumpkin, oil and vanilla. Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture, beating just to blend. Stir in the apples. Transfer the batter to 2 9x5" pans, which have been generously prepared with cooking spray. Combine the ingredients for the crumbs, and work in the butter with a fork or your fingers until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of each loaf. Bake 50-60 minutes or until the top is firm, and the loaf pulls away from the sides of the pans in a 350 degree oven. Let sit in pans 10 minutes before unmolding onto wire racks to cool.
