Scottish Shortbread

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
1/3 C. white sugar (powdered works best, but granulated can be used)
3/4 C. butter (don't use shortening or margarine)
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350*.
Blend all ingredients well, dough will be stiff.
Press into a 9x9" buttered dish. Prick top with a fork. Bake until pale golden brown on the edges. Cool and cut into squares.
