Warm Chocolate Caramel Shortbread

1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1¼ cups flour
1 can Eagle Brand milk
3 tbsp. corn syrup
3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, meltedRecipe
Beat butter sugar and salt until fluffy,add flour and mix well. Press into a greased 9x9 pan Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until light brown.
In microwave melt 1/2 cup margarine on high 1 minute Stir in Eagle Brand & corn syrup. Cook on high 6 or 8 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture turns a light caramel color. Spread over the warm shortbread. Drizzle with melted chocolate.
