Cheesy Breakfast/Brunch Strata

This is really good and different in that it has potato in it... can be halved for a smaller family, bake in an 8x8" pan in that case.
List of Ingredients
2 large red potatoes, boiled, peeled, and sliced into 1/4" slices
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 cup chopped chives, divided
1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon or ham
10 slices baby Swiss cheese (enough to cover potatoes)
12 large eggs
2/3 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Layer potatoes in a greased 9x13" pan and sprinkle with the kosher salt, half the chives, and the bacon or ham. Layer the Swiss cheese evenly over the potatoes.
Whisk together the eggs and cream until frothy. Pour over the Swiss cheese layer. (The eggs will seep down over the potatoes a little.) Sprinkle with salt, pepper, remaining chives, cheddar and parmesan cheese. Dust lightly with paprika. Bake 20 minutes until eggs are set, cheese is melted, and potatoes are heated through.
Delicious even at room temperature!
