To-Die-For French Toast

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 cooking apple, peeled & sliced
8 oz. French bread in ½" slices
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extractRecipe
In small saucepan, melt butter; stir in cinnamon, brown sugar and syrup. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Arrange apple slices over top. Arrange bread slices over apple slices.
In small bowl beat eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread. Sprinkle cinnamon over all and cover with foil. REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT.Preheat oven to 350°. Bake French toast 40 min. Serve upsidedown with apples on top.
