Recipe Introduction
This is the recipe I use for icing cookies. It gives a nice glossy, hardened icing and doesn't make the cookie soggy. I use concentrated food dye that you can find in baking specialty stores, I find the colors are brighter and you don't run the risk of diluting the icing too much.
List of Ingredients
2 cups confectioners' sugar
4 teaspoons Just Whites (egg white powder)
water
1-2 drops of concentrated food dye
Recipe
Just mix together the sugar and egg white powder. Add a teaspoon of water at a time until icing is of desired consistency. It should be thick, but spread smoothly.
