Butter Rum Pound Cake

1 pkg. butter recipe yellow cake mix (or regular)
1 pkg. (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding & pie filling mix
3/4 cup milk (evaporated or regular whole milk)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 large eggs
1/4 cup rum
Confectioners' sugarRecipe
Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
Generously grease and flour a 9-inch or 10-inch bundt or tube cake pan.
Beat ALL ingredients in a large bowl with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
Cool cake on rack for 15 minutes, remove from pan. Cool cake completely before dusting with confectioners' sugar.
