Beat on med. speed for 2 minutes till smooth. Add eggs one at a time beating well. Pour 2/3 of the batter into a well greased and floured 10" bunt pan. Mix chocolate syrup and the remaining batter and pour into the pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cool 25-30 minutes and remove from pan. Cool a bit longer and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
