Cream Cheese Poundcake

This is, bar none, the best poundcake I have ever made.
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1 /2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Powdered sugar for sprinkling on topRecipe
Combine sugar, cream cheese, butter and vanilla in mixer bowl, cream until well blended. Add eggs and mix on low speed. Gradually add flour, sifted with the baking powder, mixing at low speed until blended. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5" loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees, 1 hr. 20 min or until cake tests done. Do not overbake.
Remove from pan after cooling 15 minutes. When cool, sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
