Peanut Butter Sheet Cake

Recipe Introduction


The cake recipe doesn't call for vanilla, but I added some.


List of Ingredients




1/2c. peanut butter
1 c. water
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 teas. salt
1 teas. soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk

Recipe



1. Bring peanut butter, water and butter to boil in saucepan.
2. Measure flour, sugar, salt and soda into a bowl and mix. Add eggs and buttermilk; stir. Add peanut butter mixture and stir. Pour into greased sheetcake pan and bake 25 min. or til done @ 350.

Peanut Butter Frosting:
1 stick butter
1/2c. peanut butter
6 tablespoons buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 c. powdered sugar.

1. Bring butter, peanut butter and buttermilk to a rapid boil.
2. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and mix.
3. Frost cake while frosting is still hot.
