    List of Ingredients




    5 fresh pears, cored and sliced
    1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
    2/3 cup sugar
    1/4 cup flour
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    baked 9 inch pie shell
    Praline topping(below)

    Recipe



    Coat pear slices with mixture of lemon peel, sugar, flour, salt and ground ginger. Sprinkle 1/4 of the praline mixture in pastry lined pie plate. Add pear mixture. Sprinkle top with remaining praline mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.

    PRALINE TOPPING:
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup flour
    1/2 cup pecans
    1/4 cup cold butter, cut in small pieces

    Mix first three ingredients together and cut in butter pieces to make coarse crumbs.
