Sour Cream Apple or Peach Pie

List of Ingredients
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 8~oz container dairy sour cream
1 C sugar
3 T all-purpose Flour
� tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
3 C thinly sliced, peeled apples (or peaches)
1 Single~Crust Pie
1/3 C all-purpose Flour
1/3 C packed brown sugar
2 T butter of margarine
Recipe
In a lrg mixing bowl stir together eggs & sour cream. Stir in sugar, the 3 T flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and � tsp salt. Add apples (or fresh or frozen peaches) then gently toss till fruit is coated.
(If using frozen peaches, let stand about 45 min�s or til peaches are partially thawed but still icy)
Prepare & roll out Pastry & Line a 9~inch pie plate w/pastry. Trim & crimp edge of pastry. Transfer fruit mixture to pastry~lined pie plate. To prevent overbrowning, cover edge of pie w/foil. Bake at 375� 15 min�s.
Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl stir together the 1/3 C flour & brown sugar. Cut in the butter (or margarine) til crumbly. Remove foil from pie. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture on top of pie. Bake for 25~30 min�s more for fresh fruit (about 40 min�s more frozen) or til pie appears NEARLY set in the center when gently shaken. Cool the pie on a wire rack. Store in the refrigerator. Makes 8 servings.
