List of Ingredients

3/4 C (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine
3 C sugar
2/3 C evaporated milk
1 pkg (12oz) semi~sweet choco chips
1 jar (7oz) Jet~Puffed®
1 C chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp vanilla


Recipe

MICROWAVE:

Lightly grease 12x9” or 9” square pan.

Microwave margarine in 4qt microwaeable bowl or casserole on high 1 min or until melted.

Add sugar n milk; mix well.

Microwave on high 5 min’s or until mix begins to boil, stirring after 3 min’s.

Mix well scrape bowl. Microwave on high 5-½ min’s, stirring after 3 min’s. Gradually stir in chips until melted. Add remaining ingred’s, mix well.

Pour into prepared pan. Cool at room temp n cut into squares. Makes 3#

STOVE TOP:

Prepare pan as directed.

Mix margarine, sugar & milk in heavy 2 ½ ~ 3 qt sauce pan, bring to full rolling boil on med heat string constantly.

Continue boiling 5 min’s on med heat or until candy therm reaches 234°
