Barbecued Chicken Casserole

List of Ingredients
3 to 3 1/2 pound chicken cut in pieces
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup minced green pepper
1 cup catsup
1 cup water
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/8 tsp pepperRecipe
Dip chicken pieces into flour mixed with the salt. Fry in hot oil til golden brown. Remove chicken to large casserole dish. Pour all but 2 tablespoons oil from skillet. Add onion, saute until golden and tender. Stir remaining ingredients in a bowl, add onions and pour over chicken. (If freezing, cool and freeze now). Bake in a covered casserole dish in a 350 degree oven about 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender.
