Chicken Cherry Almond Casserole

5 c. diced, cooked chicken breast
2 c. diced celery
3 c. cooked rice
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
2 cans (10-3/4 oz. ea.) cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 TBS. chopped onion
2 TBS. lemon juice
2 tsp. salt, or to taste
3/4 tsp. white pepper
1/2 c. dried cherries
1 c. sliced almonds
TOPPING:
1/2 c. sliced almonds
3 c. crumbled Corn Flakes
2/3 c. butterRecipe
In large bowl, combine all ingredients, except topping ingredients. Spread into a buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until heated through. This can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight and baked the next day; just add 15 minutes to baking time.
