Can be served as either cold, as a salad or hot, as a casserole.

3/4 c. mayonnaise
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. basil leaves
3 c. diced cooked chicken
8 oz. corkscrew pasta cooked, drained and cooled
1 lb. pkg. frozen mixed veggies, cooked/drained/cooled (zucchini, cauliflower, carrots, beans)
6 Tbsp. margarine, softened
1½ tsp. Italian seasoning or oregano
wheat crackers
Recipe
In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, buttermilk, cheese and basil. Stir in chicken, pasta and vegetables.
Chill at least 1 hour before serving. Mix margarine and Italian seasoning; spread on wheat crackers & serve them with the salad.
Casserole Variation: In a 2½ quart casserole, bake pasta mixture at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with the same prepared crackers.
