    Ham & Chicken Biscuit Casserole

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup diced onion
    1/2 cup diced celery
    4 Tablespoons margarine, melted
    4 Tablespoons flour
    1-1/2 cups chicken broth
    1-1/2 cups milk
    1-1/2 to 2 cups diced cooked ham
    2 cups diced cooked chicken
    1-4 ounce can mushrooms (sliced OR chopped)
    dash pepper
    8 ounces (1/2 - 16 ounce bag) frozen green peas, optional
    1 - 7-1/2 to 8 ounce can refrigerator biscuits

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Melt margarine. Sauté onion and celery. Stir in flour, and cook for 1 minute.

    Gradually add chicken broth and milk. Cook until mixture thickens and boils.

    Add: ham, chicken, mushrooms, pepper, green peas (if desired).
    Heat thoroughly. Pour into ungreased baking dish. (I use rectangular Pyrex dish.)

    Place biscuits on top. Bake 30 to 40 minutes, or until biscuits are browned and baked.
