3 lbs. kale
3 lbs. potatoes
1 lb. smoked sausage
Milk, boiled
Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Discard stems from kale. Wash and chop the leaves very fine.
Place in large kettle, add boiling salted water to just about cover and boil 40 min. Add potatoes and sausage and enough water to prevent burning. Cook 30 min. Remove sausage.
Mash potatoes and kale and stir in enough milk to make a smooth consistency. Add seasoning to taste.
This couldn't be as tasty as yours, but a fast way to use the kale.
