4 pork chops, 1/2" thick (trim off excess fat)
1 tbsp. cooking oil
2 medium onions, sliced & separated into rings
1 cup canned tomatoes, diced (do not drain)
3/4 cup water
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. carraway seed
3 medium potatoes, peeled & sliced
1 small green pepper, cut in strips
Recipe
Brown pork chops in oil over medium-high heat until browned - 4-5 minutes each side. Remove from skillet. Add onion & cook 3-4 minutes until tender. Spoon off excess grease.
Add tomatoes, water, paprika, garlic salt & carraway seed. Return pork chops to skillet. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, cover & simmer 10 minutes. Add potatoes & green pepper; cover & simmer 15-20 minutes until potatoes & pork are fully cooked.
