Seven Layer Casserole

List of Ingredients
1 C cooked white rice
1 C corn; if frozen - thaw first
salt/pepper to taste
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1/2 C chopped onion
1/2 C chopped sweet bell pepper, either green or red or both
3/4 lb. ground beef browned; add minced garlic if desired
Parmesan Cheese (optional)
4 strips baconRecipe
Oil or spray a casserole dish and layer ingredients in the order given, using one can tomato sauce for the first sauce layer.
Mix remaining can of sauce with ¼ C water, and spread over the beef. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired, top with bacon slices and bake covered at 350° for 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking until bacon is crisp.
