2 3/4C flour
1 teas. baking soda
1/2 teas. baking powder
1 1/2C sugar
1 C butter
1 egg
1 teas. vanilla
1/2 c pitted ground cherries
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375.
In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and baking powder and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Gradually mix in the flour then add the cherries. Cover and refrigerate for 10-15mins.
Roll small round balls of dough and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10mins. or until golden brown.
