Chocolate Shortbread Cookies

List of Ingredients




2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar (*extra for sprinkling)
1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe



Cream butter, sugar and cocoa. Add egg and vanilla mix well. Add flour 1 cup at a time and mix well. Use cooking spray and spray over cookie sheet. *Sprinkle sugar on cookie sheet then pat dough out over small cookie sheet. *Sprinkle sugar on top. (You can also cut into rounds if you prefer.) Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes (no more). Cool and cut. These are very rich and very good.

*Can also top dough with some chocolate chips.
