    List of Ingredients




    2 sticks butter or margarine (I use butter)
    2 cups sugar
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    4 eggs
    3/4 cup Hershey's cocoa
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup chopped nuts--optional

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13x2-inch baking pan. Microwave butter at HIgh for 2 - 2 1/2 minutes or until melted. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt; beat until well blended. Stir in nuts, if desired. Bake 30 - 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides. Cool completely.

    MEGAN's NOTE: After the brownies cool I also put chocolate frosting on them. I love these brownies because they are not as fudgy as most and are more cakey. And also there is less clean-up since there is no chocolate to melt down, lol.
