Sour Cream Cookies

List of Ingredients
3-1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract (next time I would increase to 1 tsp.)
1 cup sour cream
Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
2-1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond
2 tablespoons milk
dash of salt
Recipe
Cookies:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and extracts, then the sour cream. Mix dry ingredients well. Gradually add dry to wet. Chill dough until cold (I usually chill overnight). Drop on greased cookie sheets (I found the best way to get a good shape was to roll the dough in balls; I baked on parchment) and bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.
Frosting:
Cream butter and sugar, add remaining ingredients. Frost cookies when cooled.
