    White Chocolate Macadamia Brownies

    1 cup butter
    8 oz. white chocolate, (either chips or squares that have been chopped)

    Melt together in the microwave.

    Add:

    1 cup sugar
    3 tsp vanilla
    4 eggs, lightly beaten
    2 cups flour
    1 cup chopped macadamia nuts, plus more for garnish

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Stir sugar and vanilla into melted chocolate mixture; add eggs. Don't worry if it looks curdled at this point. Add flour and nuts and stir just until combined.

    Spread batter into a greased and floured 13x9" pan, and bake 25 minutes. Cool.

    Ganache topping:

    Place 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips into a metal bowl. Bring 1/2 cup heavy cream lightly to a boil, and pour over chips. Let stand a minute, then stir. Bring to room temperature, stir, then pour over brownies. Spread evenly over top. Sprinkled some chopped toasted macadamias over the top. Cut into squares and serve.
