List of Ingredients
CAKE:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. baking cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
PUDDING:
1 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp. baking cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1¾ cups boiling water
Recipe
Combine flour, sugar, 2 tbsp. cocoa, baking powder & salt; stir in milk, oil & vanilla extract until smooth. Pour in ungreased 9" square pan.
Combine brown sugar, 4 tbsp. cocoa & salt; sprinkle evenly over cake batter. Pour boiling water over all - do not stir.
Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes. Allow to set a short while before serving, but serve warm. Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
