Custard Bread Pudding

List of Ingredients
2 eggs (I used 3 eggs)
2 cup milk (I used one cup milk and one cup of whipping cream)
1 cup sugar (I used 1 1/3 cups)
1 T butter
1 tsp cinnamon
10 slices bread, cubed (1 loaf of cinnamon raisin bread)
1 cup raisins (soaked these in hot water to soften)
*Added one teaspoon of vanilla
Sauce:
2/3 cup sugar
2 T flour
1 cup water
7 T butter
1 tsp vanilla Recipe
In large bowl mix eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon. Add bread and raisins. Mix. Butter baking pan. Pour into 11x7x2 baking dish. Bake 350 for 1 hour. (I used a glass baking dish and baked 1 hour at 325.)
In sauce pan combine sugar and flour and water. Add butter. Boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Serve over pudding.
