Death By Chocolate Trifle

List of Ingredients
1- 21 ounce box brownie mix, baked according to pkg directions and cooled
1/4 cup coffee liquer (CAN subsitute 1/4 cup strong coffee and 1 tsp. sugar)
2- 4-serving size boxes instant chocolate fudge pudding mix, prepared according to pkg directions
1- 12 ounce container Cool whip, thawed
8 1.4 ounce chocolate covered toffee candy bars, coarsley crushed
Recipe
1. Use a fork to prick holes in the top of the cooled brownies. Drizzle with the liquer.
2. Break up the brownies into small pieces and place half in the bottom of the trifle dish or other large glass serving bowl. Cover with half of the pudding, 1/3 of the crushed candy and half of the Cool Whip. Repeat the layers, then top with the remaining crushed candy.
3. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
I used 2 brownie mixes, 3 boxes of pudding and a super large carton of cool whip. I increased the coffee/sugar liquid to 1/2 cup. Plus, I couldn't find any chocolate toffee bars, so I used 2 packages of the toffee bits and shaved some chocolate on top of them. I used a large chocolate bar to add chocolate curls to the top of the finished trifle. OMG, this is a SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS Dessert!
