This was in a cute birthday card with a pop-up of the Pillsbury Doughboy holding this recipe card. Picture looks exactly like a pepperoni pizza! It definitely would be cute for a kids' party or birthday!
Brownie Base:
1 (1 lb. 3.5 oz) pkg. fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
Toppings:
1 cup coconut
2 drops yellow food color
1 (16 oz) can vanilla frosting
2 sheets red fruit leather, cut into 1 in. rounds
1/4 cup chopped black licorice
2 Tbsp. chopped pecans
4 green ring shaped gummi candies...quartered
Recipe
Heat over to 350. Crease 12" pizza pan.
In large bowl combine brownie mix, oil, water & egg. Beat 50 strokes by hand. Spread in greased pan.
Bake at 350 from 22 to 27 min. DO NOT OVERBAKE, but cook completely.
Place 1/2 cup of the coconut & 2 drops yellow food color in resealable plastic bag. Seal bag & shake until coconut is uniformly colored.
Spread frosting over cooled brownies, sprinkle with yellow coconut AND remaining white coconut. Arrange fruit leather, licorice, pecans & gummi candies over coconut.
