Raspberry Cream Cheese Bars

List of Ingredients
3/4 c. butter or margaine, softened
1 c. Packed Brown Sugar
1-1/2 c. Quick Cooking Oats
1-1/2 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 pkgs. (one 8 oz and one 3 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 c. Sugar
2 Eggs
18 oz. jar Red Raspberry Preserves
1/3 c. Slivered Almonds, choppedRecipe
Cream butter and brown sugar. Combine the oats, flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Press ¾ of the mixture into a greased 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 10-11 minutes or until set and edges begin to brown.
In a small bowl beat cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Spread over crust. Drop preserves by spoonfuls over cream cheese mixture and carefully spread evenly. Combine almonds and remaining oat mixture, sprinkle over preserves.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set and edges are golden brown. Cool before cutting. Store in the refrigerator.
