Recipe Introduction
List of Ingredients
8 2.7 oz. bars Snickers (or equivalent amount fun-size bars)
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1 tablespoon Bailey's Irish Creme liquer
1 egg, separated
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups heavy (whipping) creamRecipe
Chop 7 of the Snickers and press into bottom of 9-inch pie plate. Chop and reserve remaining bar.
In microwave, melt semisweet chocolate. Remove and stir in liqueur. Beat in the egg yolk.
In another bowl, beat the egg white to soft peaks and gradually beat in the sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in the chocolate mixture.
Whip the cream to soft peaks. Fold two-thirds or so of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture. Place chocolate mixture in the pie crust. Spread with remaining whipped cream and sprinkle top with the chopped candy bar.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
NOTE: Melt the chocolate in the microwave on about 50% power.
Also, I bet this recipe could be made with Cool Whip instead of real whipped cream.
